Eco-responsible initiatives

The Agora Stage at the Port of Québec is committed to enhancing its sustainable development approach across all recreational tourism and event activities on its site, through its Environmental, Social, Governance and Sustainable Development (ESGSD) Action Plan 2024–2028.

Here are some of the initiatives implemented at the Agora.

  • Vegetarian option available on the menu
  • Bar service where all ready-to-drink beverages come from local companies
  • Free and accessible water stations on site to refill reusable bottles
  • Multiple sorting and recycling bins for waste materials on site
  • Ban on single-use plastic tableware and water bottles
  • Encouragement of public and active transportation use in the surrounding area
  • Signing of eco-responsible commitments by artists and suppliers
  • Donation of tickets to various local organizations and community groups
  • Solidarity pricing offered
  • Action plan in place to improve site accessibility for people with reduced mobility
  • Access to electric or hybrid vehicle charging stations on site
  • Preventive maintenance of equipment
  • 100% LED stage lighting
  • Procurement of second-hand equipment
  • Customer satisfaction surveys to improve the experience and the sustainable development of our activities
